MCA Sends Aid to Gulf Coast Contractors
The MCAA and its member contractors around the country have responded
to the
needs of their fellow contractors in the Gulf Coast region by raising
money
for relief efforts, setting up networks to reunite families, providing
food
and clothing, and turning training centers into shelters.
But that's not all. MCA contractors have the ability to enlist
a highly
trained and mobile workforce. This unique advantage allows them
not only to
rebuild their own business and the homes of their displaced local
workforce,
but it will allow them to respond quickly to the needs of rebuilding
their
towns and cities. Their dedication to excellence and their sense
of
community is unmatched.
To date, MCA member contractors continue to help their own by raising close to $300,000 to aid contractors on the Gulf Coast. One mechanical contractor says, "Your kind and generous donation to the MCA of Louisiana is greatly appreciated. We have many employees who are left without any possessions, including their homes. Your donation will be put in our fund to house employees so they can work and rebuild our area. May God Bless the MCA of America."
Whether rebuilding the New Orleans Superdome or helping to rebuild
the local
playground, MCA contractors and their workforce are committed
to helping
make their communities better than ever! |
